Biography

U&I is a South African Afrohouse DJ and producer from Edenvale, known for high-energy sets blending Afrohouse and 3Step with deep grooves, rich melodies, and infectious rhythms. He has performed at leading venues and events including Back 2 the City Festival, Truth Night Club, Liv Sandton, and the Scorpion Kings Live Activations, and was Resident DJ for the Dark & Lovely 2024 product launch. Having shared stages with Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, Kmat, and Dlala Thukzin, U&I continues to establish himself within South Africa's evolving dance music scene. His single 'Yena' is available on all major platforms, with mixes featured on Ligwalagwala FM, Ikwekwezi FM, YouFM, and Tshwane FM. With a sound that bridges underground Afrohouse and mainstream appeal, U&I is part of the next wave of South African house music.
